Fit and finish is great . Pleasantly surprised with this unit at this price. The barrel nut is nice, although a little heavier than I had hoped. FYI the finish is a bit on the blue side next to an Aero receiver which is a bit red.

Hard to beat this, for the price. I ordered two. Shipped quickly, and came with a barrel shim and the correct allen wrench for the clamp screws. I cant see where anyone would ever need a shim with this type of barrel nut, but now I have two extra shims. Also this is about the easiest type of barrel nut/ hand guard to install. this style does not require timing of the barrel nut .
