    THIS HANDGUARD IS EVERY BIT AS NICE AS SOME HIGH PRICED UNMENTIONABLE NAMES THAT CHARGE 3 TIMES AS MUCH . THANK U FOR A VERY STURDY PRODUCT THAT WILL LAST WELL OVER 50 YEARS AN BEYOND.

    I've used Hontac handguards on 5 builds and couldn't be happier with them. A couple of these rifles are well into the thousands of rounds and these handguards are holding up perfectly.

    It's good but beware

    Looks great, the issue I had was that the flats on the barrel nut were out of spec. It was just a little larger than the 32mm/ 1 1/4" standard, but smaller than the next size up. The barrell nut is mildsteel, so I filed down the flats to spec so I could get my armorers wrench on it. So beware that might have to do some hand fitting. Other than that, the handguard looks great and with 6 screws holding to the barrel nut is is solid.

    It shipped fast and seems to be good quality. Only knocking it for the very minor nicks that were on the finish when it arrived. For the price its hard to even complain about that. Came with barrel nut and shims. Barrel nut is the kind that doesn’t need to be clocked for the gas tube. Overall I am pleased. If i could post photos I would.
